Job Description
Job Responsibilities :
• Nurse Educator serves to maintain the organizational Mission, Vision and Values.
• Nurse Educator serves as a member of the Nursing team in contributing to the establishment and maintenance of the nursing competencies in all aspects of nursing care practices.
• Provide diabetic and wound care counseling and education sessions with referrals from the Medical Staff.
• Reference person for the doctors, patients and nurses in areas pertaining to diabetic and wound care management.
• Provides clinical guidance to nursing staff when and where applicable.
• Work closely with other nurse educators to identify training needs for nursing staff to improve their competency level for safe delivery of patient care.
• Assist to oversee the ongoing development of nursing personnel by identifying and organizing training programme for the team.
• To perform any other Nursing duties required and deem necessary in the outpatient department
Job Requirement :
• Diploma in Nursing.
• Post Basic or Specialized area Certification in the related field of practice.
• Degree in Nursing and advantage.
• Staff Nurse with at least five (5) years clinical experience in the ward.
• Staff Nurse with at least five (5) years clinical experience in the ward.
