Job Description
We are looking for a NURSE MANAGER, ENDOSCOPY to oversee and be responsible on the management of the Endoscopy unit. The ideal candidate will need to ensure the quality of the nursing care and medical treatments being provided to all patients. You will also need to manage and supervise your staff besides administration tasks. You will need to have teaching and research skills as well.
Your Responsibility:
- You need to manage your unit as per the agreed policies and procedures
- You need to promote high quality of nursing care and patient safety
- You shall be a resource person to provide support and consultation by the nursing staff
- You are required to ensure all instruments and equipment are in good order
- You need to render professional nursing care as the Nurse Manager
- You shall assist the Nursing Management in preparing annual performance targets on the agreed budget on your Unit
- You need to assist in preparing roster, work and leave arrangements for your nursing staff
- You also need to assist in investigating incidents, accidents due to errors and complaints
- You need to focus on your staff development programmes
- You shall be involved in research in order to improve professional growth and development
Your Job Requirements:
- Possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) / Retention of Name (RON)
- Possess a Diploma/Degree in Nursing
- Post Basic/Advance Diploma is required
- Have at least 3 years of Management/Supervisory experience
- Strong Organizational skills
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage
- Required to work in Kota Damansara
