The successful applicant will work as members of a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing specialist assessment, treatment and intervention for children with Down syndrome - as well as providing services which support the children within the current preschool program. This position require enthusiastic and innovative individuals to provide special education teaching and therapy as well as information, education and advice to clients, families and care-givers, teachers, health professionals and other service providers.
A strong professional supervision network and opportunities for training and development are available.
Applicants MUST have Occupational therapy qualifications. Applicants should have experience in working with children and experience in conducting sessions virtually will be an advantage.

The Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation (KDSF) is a non-profit organization committed to the welfare of children with Down Syndrome. Its main focus is the education of these children who are from 2 months to 6 years old. KDSF has 5 Down Syndrome Centres in parts of Malaysia which implement the Early Intervention Programme (EIP), a special curriculum which emphasizes the development of gross motor, fine motor, speech and language, social, perceptual-cognitive and pre-academic skills.
The Centre is run like an ordinary kindergarten with the usual kindergarten activities such as biennial Sports/ Concerts, annual Graduation, social and educational visits.
