Job Description
We are looking for Retail Pharmacist
What is your role?
- Able to manage the operation of the store.
- Counsel & advice clients on their medication regiments and health conditions
- Recommend suitable health supplements and/or personal care products to promote preventive care
- Provide relevant health tips and advices according to individual needs to encourage improvement in achieving healthy lifestyle
- Provide basic health screenings and other related patient care services
- Keep up-to-date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses.
- Screen prescriptions and ensure that medicines are correctly and safely supplied.
- Attend to customers’ complaints.
- Prescribe over-the-counter non-drugs for minor illnesses and general wellbeing.
- Inventory management which include supervise inventory of medicines with regular audit and active monitor of expiry dates.
- Maintenance of required records for poison.
- Participate in conducting health talks or support groups from time to time to enhance our existence in community.
- Jointly market and promote products.
- Maintain good communication and working relationship with all staffs within the store and also with HQ staffs.
- Provide coverage for others pharmacists if the need arises
- Assists in training of pharmacist assistants and floor staffs
Who we look for?
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Pharmacy/Pharmacology or equivalent.
- Registered with Malaysia Pharmaceutical Board (Lembaga Farmasi Malaysia)
- Eligible to obtain License A
- Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and possess retail & management experience preferred.
