Job Description
- •To assist the Nurse Manager / Assistant Nurse Manager in the smooth running of the dialysis unit.
•Implementation, management and maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
•Directs and supervises nursing activities related to patients’ care.
•Maintain the optimum level of patients’ care with allocated staff and resources.
•Cannulating, initiating and discontinuing dialysis.
•Assist in counseling and education of patients in drugs, fluid, diet management and blood test results.
•Maintains an effective communication and professional relationship with physicians, patients, families and other departmental staffs
•Assists in developing and implement unit policies and procedures and standards of nursing care
•Ensure patient old records are filed according to ISO requirements and kept in respective place
•Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment requisitioning repairs as needed.
•Preparation of Heparin injection.
•Setting up and priming of dialysers and lines - Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- No work experience required.
- Preferably Entry Level specialized in Healthcare - Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent.
