Job Summary
To ensure the health and welfare of the animals is maintain at optimum conditions and to get the best flock performances with best quality eggs. Develop and implement preventative program to minimize chances of infectious disease and other environmental problem.
Job Description
- Planning and execute flock health and biosecurity program.
- To monitor performances data, review and make necessary adjustment.
- To ensure best maintenance of a veterinary facility or tools.
- To conduct routine post-mortem, titer monitoring and implementation of preventative control sampling program.
- Maintenance of the flock health, medicine, supplement and disinfectant record.
- Establish good communication and report with relevant authority.and advise on the bio-security measures and notification of animals/zoonotic disease protocol.
- To handle and organise the farm inspection audit, certificate or license renewal and prepare necessary required documents and record.
- Communicates with other staff and house keepers in exchange of information on animal behaviour, administration of medication, proper husbandry and exhibit enrichment.
- Arrangement of training program for staff and relevant workers for continual improvement.
Veterinarian Requirements :
- Candidate must possess Doctor of Veterinay Medicine ( DVM ) Degree , from a recognised University.
- Those interested but without or with some experience.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Patience and a love for animals.
